Why am I not ranking in Google Shopping?

Feed quality + GTIN missing

Google Shopping rewards complete product feeds. Missing GTIN (UPC barcode), missing brand, missing item-group-id, generic descriptions → invisible. Use Shopify's Google channel app to sync — and add GTINs manually if your supplier doesn't provide them.

New domain authority

Google Shopping favors established domains for branded queries. A 3-month-old domain ranks for almost nothing unless bidding aggressively. Patience + content + backlinks build authority over 6-12 months.

Bid + budget too low

Smart Shopping campaigns need $1.5K-$3K/mo minimum to find a winning audience. Sub-$500/mo bids are statistical noise — you'll never get enough data to optimize.
