Annual vs monthly, lifetime deals, tier changes, promo-code stacking, pausing.
Should I pick annual or monthly?
Annual saves ~17% (2 months free) and locks the current tier price for the term. Monthly is no-commitment but the price can change on renewal. Most people pick monthly to evaluate, then switch to annual.
Is the lifetime deal really lifetime?
Yes — "lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not your biological lifetime. If we ever shut down (we won't, but no honest founder claims forever), we'd refund LTD buyers prorated against time used. LTD is capped at 100 buyers total; the counter on /pricing is live.
When do tier prices change?
Every ~25 new customers we re-evaluate. Prices have only gone up so far — early customers are grandfathered at the price they signed up at, forever (as long as the subscription stays active). Cancel and re-sign = current price applies.
Can I switch tiers?
Upgrade anytime — prorated charge appears on next invoice. Downgrade applies at the end of the current billing period (no prorated refund on downgrade, because we don't want to incentivize tier-hopping). Switch monthly ↔ annual freely.
Can I pause my subscription?
Up to 3 months/year via the Stripe portal. Account goes read-only during the pause — your data stays, no charges accrue. After 3 months we either auto-resume or you can extend by emailing us.
How do promo codes stack?
One promo code per subscription. Annual-pay discount (~17%) does stack with a percentage promo code — they multiply, not add. Lifetime deal pricing already includes every discount; no codes apply.
